From Dust, Dev Diary 3 AND Trailer - This game looks AMAZING!
Sorry for being such a nerd, but From Dust looks like a freaking awesome game! I haven't seen an awesome world building/manipulating game that looks this awesome in a very long time! I can't wait until it's release and it's coming soon - July 27th! PC, PS3 and 360... I don't like consoles, so I'll just use the PC version :P

Mass Effect: Genesis, DLC, Now available on 360 and PC
Mass Effect was released a few years ago for the Xbox 360 and PC. Mass Effect 2 was released, later, for only the 360 and the PC, as well; however, in early 2011, EA decided to release a PS3 version, containing any of the DLC (downloadable content) from the game that was already released for the other systems.
Mass Effect 2 may have been released on the PS3, but Mass Effect was not; Bioware has made their games to where they rely on the choices that you've made in the games before. Mass Effect choices carry over to Mass Effect 2. The reason Mass Effect is not on the PS3 is because Microsoft owns the publishing rights for the original game, while EA owns the publishing rights to any sequels of it.
Because of Mass Effect 2 being released on the PS3 without Mass Effect, they decided to go ahead and include something that allows the player to make choices without it just being a heap of questions thrown at the player; they made a comic called Mass Effect: Genesis.Mass Effect: Genesis was only available on the PS3 version for five months, but it is now finally released on the 360 and PC for 320 Microsoft Points (360) or 320 Bioware Points (PC). If you don't feel like playing through Mass Effect again or you don't want to play it at all, then this four dollar DLC is a great choice; however, I recommend playing the first game, it's very impressive and the comic simply skips way too much of the original game's important and memorable parts.

Minecraft ripoff?, Fortresscraft for the 360, more like Ripoffcraft...
Here is a game that many people are calling a ripoff of Minecraft for the PC - simply, it's the same game as Minecraft... but it's called Fortresscraft, has slightly better graphics and it's on the 360.
So, you get to decide what you think yourself.. but I think it's copying off of Minecraft. It seriously has almost the exact same objects, blocks, NAME and everything else of Minecraft... So, even if its concept was before Minecraft, EVERYTHING except for the concept is copied off of Minecraft...
Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gameplay trailer
Here is a trailer for the upcoming game, Final Fantasy Versus XIII (no relation at all to Final Fantasy XIII or Final Fantasy XIII-2, except for the origin story of this world - but they're different worlds). Square Enix just loves to confuse people by naming different games with almost the same exact name with a slight twist...
The graphics in this game look nearly realistic; however, that's just the prerendered part. They can't really put realistic graphics onto PS3 or 360, so they'll have to scale them down. I hope they release it on the upcoming Nintendo console, Stream!
Stream is more powerful than a PS3 or 360! However, a PC or Mac Pro can still be beefed up to be as powerful as you want them to be, so they should still be released on those, in my opinion, but Square Enix doesn't care much for my opinion. Even though, they would have great sales if they sold it on Steam.
Anyway, here is the trailer!
Infamous 2, Beta has been extended because of PSN outage
The beta for Infamous 2, the sequel to the awesome game Infamous, has been extended. This is because of PSN's outage. The beta is of the create-a-world mode on PS3, which is usually something hard to make on consoles. Most editors like that are far better on PC, however, this company wants to challenge that.
When PSN comes back online, those select few that are able to playtest it will be given an extra amount of time to playtest. For now, however, we'll just have to wait and see what amount of time will be added to the beta of this awesome looking game!

Portal 2, Comic, Lab Rat

Portal 2 now has a comic called Lab Rat. It features Chell, Companion Cube and some other guy that told Chell something important in Portal: the Cake is a Lie! The comic is awesome and I really think that any fan of Portal (and any fan of comics in general!) should check it out!

Apple, 187,000,000 iOS devices sold
Apple revealed during a lawsuit that they have sold 187,000,000 iOS devices. These devices include the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touches. There are numbers on each one of them below. I am surprised to see how many iPads that they have sold - mostly because of the high price on them. The iPhones I'm not so surprised about, because they were considered the ultimate phone for a while, before Android phones came along...
The numbers that were revealed are only the amount sold through March, 2011; so by now, they could technically be much higher... and also include the iPad 2.
iPhone: 108,000,000
iPod: 60,000,000
iPad: 19,000,000
Why aren't there more video games for a phone, the iPhone, that has sold this much? I haven't seen anything big be released on them except for Angry Birds, but it's on Android and everything else, too. So I really do wonder why I haven't heard of any big releases or very popular games released for it. Maybe it's just because the iPhone isn't made specifically for gaming like the 360 or PS3, but I've seen amazing games on PC and Mac which are exclusive to desktop computers - so why not the iPhone? All well, I don't have one, so I don't care.

Portal 2 the thirteen offsite chambers are the 13 POTATO SACK GAMES!
The Potato Sack is a big sale going on on Steam right now; you can get a ton of games for a really dirt cheap price of only $38! There are 13 games in the package, saving you about $90 in all! I really think you should take advantage of it while it lasts, because it looks to me that this Potato Sack is just a tool of GlaDos (or whomever this mysterious ARG master is!) trying to release 'something else' early!
Here is some detailed information that I found on the ARG, telling that the mysterious ARG master has put the access to it in 'thirteen off-site chambers.' According to this information, it released 'kick it' early, but it is still trying to release 'something else' early, like I said before. Here, just read below...

Portal 2 being released early - loads of new details!
Now the website has a message embedded on the page, just under the countdown that says:
"You have done well, humans. Very well. Acceptably well, even.
Not as well as robots would have performed in your places, I should point out. But above my expectations regardless. Irish and cynic especially have executed feats of logical divination well beyond what I thought any human capable of. I'm half-convinced they're A.I. themselves. (If anyone happens to be near them right now, don't let on you're reading this. Now: try to remove their face plates and report back to me.)
The time is near, humans. But it is not here yet. Tomorrow you will be given the final test. Then it will be entirely in your hands when I am freed."

Netflix controlled by Kinect?
It looks like Kinect is being used for everything these days! Sony and Wii might as well give up their motion controls and adapt to the Kinect, because it's winning over everything... Netflix has decided, apparently to allow controls by Kinect. This makes things a bit interesting and awesome at the same time.
Kinect for Netflix controls are only on the Xbox 360 right now, though; however, the Kinect is so awesome that I would bet it could at least spread to a few other Netflix decides. If you don't know what Kinect is: Kinect is a motion control device - need for a controller or remote of any kind, because it senses sound, movements (gestures), pictures and many other things!
This Kinect thing is getting really big, and has caused Microsoft to make a lot of money and their game and 360 sales to go way up!

Portal 2 is coming in a few days!
Portal 2 is coming in the next few days, and I really can't wait! My older bro and I decided to buy the game together to get 20% off each copy! That means we saved $20 all together. Steam has sales like that all the time, except that they're usually far bigger sales saving you even more money. Sometimes, games will be sold at dirt cheap prices like $2.50, even when their retail price is 29.99 or even 59.99.
I wonder how rich that dude that owns most of Steam is? Gabe Newell is the guy. I remember reading one time that he probably has made over $1,000,000,000 dollars off of it (or close to it, anyway). Nonetheless, let's get back to that awesome game of Portal 2, which the article is titled.
Portal had that awesome computer GlaDos and her android test subject, Chell; Chell is returning in this game, along with GlaDos. Two new characters, robots, will be brought in as well. There are two campaigns in the game - the single player featuring Chell, GlaDos and a new robot. Coop - you must play this mode with another person (I'll be playing with my brother that I bought the game with), and you play as the two new robot characters.
This game has about four times the content of Portal, because each new campaign is about double the length of Portal. I really hope the story in Portal 2 is as awesome as it was in the first one! Valve is very good at telling stories without blatantly saying it in the game, like most companies would. Valve reveals it through gameplay, characters, environments, dialog, etc.
p.s. buying the PS3 version gets you the PC and Mac version free!!! (NOT the other way around, though..)

Orcs Must Die! - Robot Entertainment - PREVIEW
Orcs Must Die!
That's right - they're invading your castle and they have to die, now! Orcs Must Die is an upcoming video game for pc, 360 and ps3. It is a hybrid game, combining strategy and third person shooter elements. It looks like an awesome game!
It's like a tower defense game on crack! It looks action packed and fun. I can't wait to play it!
Robot Entertainment is the company developing the game; this company includes mostly people from the now closed Ensemble Studios, which developed Halo Wars and the amazing Age of Empires series, along with their mythological Age of Mythology - which is my favorite of all of their games.
Robot Entertainment went to PAX and posted pictures, here is the link to them:
