Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gameplay trailer

Here is a trailer for the upcoming game, Final Fantasy Versus XIII (no relation at all to Final Fantasy XIII or Final Fantasy XIII-2, except for the origin story of this world - but they're different worlds). Square Enix just loves to confuse people by naming different games with almost the same exact name with a slight twist...

The graphics in this game look nearly realistic; however, that's just the prerendered part. They can't really put realistic graphics onto PS3 or 360, so they'll have to scale them down. I hope they release it on the upcoming Nintendo console, Stream!

Stream is more powerful than a PS3 or 360! However, a PC or Mac Pro can still be beefed up to be as powerful as you want them to be, so they should still be released on those, in my opinion, but Square Enix doesn't care much for my opinion. Even though, they would have great sales if they sold it on Steam.

Anyway, here is the trailer!

Diablo 3, Classes

I'm looking forward to Blizzard's cool new game, Diablo 3. It's a sequel to some far older games simply called Diablo and Diablo II (they also had expansions...). There are new classes and old classes returning in Diablo 3, but the action was never this awesome in the old games (even though Diablo II was still awesome).

So, here are the different classes in Diablo 3 and some screenshots and trailers of them!

DS Lite, discontinued

The DS Lite, one of the first of the DS handhelds, is probably being discontinued soon. This is evidenced by a note that was given to GameStop stores, telling them to sell their remaining stock of DS Lites and then discard any boxes that advertise the system.

I've never gotten a DS, so I really don't care too much about this, myself. So I wonder how many people still want one of these things? All well, people should just get a 3DS, they're much newer; even though, I don't think that 3D really adds anything, but they're newer and probably work better than an old DS Lite.

Portal, Excluding Steam sales - sells 4,000,000 copies

This is what the room below looks like after many years
Portal, the game that was originally released in the Orange Box in 2007, has sold over four million copies at retail alone; this means, not including the high amounts of sales on the digital distribution program, Steam. There are probably millions more copies that were sold on Steam that were sold at retail.

Portal 2 was just released yesterday, and there's no doubt that the sales numbers on it are as high, if not higher than Portal. Portal 2 is an awesome game; I couldn't stop playing it when I played it yesterday. I went ahead and reviewed the first of the two campaigns included with Portal 2 - you can read it HERE.

Beginning of Portal 2 - Yet many years before actual gameplay
I hope that Portal gets another installment in the series within the next few years; Portal 2 was worth every bit of hype surrounding its release, unlike many other games released in the past few years. Dragon Age II was far lower quality than the hype surrounding it led everyone to believe; DA2 wasn't the worst game ever, but it definitely will not be in a group of games that people will remember, forever.

Steam coming to Android?!

Steam is the best online distributor for video games (in my opinion). There are so many sales that help consumers and publishers alike! If it comes to Android, I really want to see how well it does - it could probably help people get apps for cheaper and could get more people to use the awesome phones!

Steam - Video Recording - Coming Soon!

According to people on the internet, which are the most reliable people in the world, Steam is going to be getting a video recording feature soon! This will really help Steam become super amazing - because I hate the idea of having to use third party programs to record my video games. I just want to be able to make movies whenever I want with the use of only Steam!
