Hilarious, Cave Johnson, Lemons Quote, Video

Portal 2 is a hilarious game that was released by Valve in April; now, there is an awesome meme going around from the game - it's a line from the new character introduced in the game, the owner of Aperture Science, Cave Johnson...

Town destroyed by Tornadoes, Portal 2 and McDonald's Sweet Tea Survives

In a town decimated by tornadoes, Portal 2 stands in the midst of the destruction. This isn't a joke - a bunch of tornadoes destroyed towns recently, and people were too busy with those stupid royals to pay any attention.

Nonetheless, it's interesting how a lone Portal 2 survived. (*SPOILERS*GLaDOS was right about that moron, Wheatley - he was made to be a moron. He even thought these towns were part of Aperture Science, and destroyed them, too... then he left evidence...*SPOILERS*)

Portal 2, Thinking with Portals, Wheatley 'hacks' a door

Portal 2 is a hilarious and fun game; here is another video of a hilarious moment, where I wish I was thinking with portals, as GLaDOS would say.

Portal 2, Final Boss, Ending, Credits, Song

Portal 2 was an awesome game to play, just like Portal; the new game has awesome scenes of destruction and a cool final boss. Here is a video showing that final boss, the ending, the new song by GlaDos (Ellen McLain), and the credits - and the epilogue.

Portal 2, Screenshots from in Game - 2

Here are some more screenshots from Portal 2's single player campaign; there is a coop campaign as well, and I'll be sure to take a few screenshots when I play it later with my brother. For now, here are some screenshots of  some of the later levels of Portal 2, which are some of the most amazing parts.

Portal 2, Screenshots from In Game

I have played Portal 2's single player campaign and the entire thing was amazing; now, I'm playing the coop campaign and it's going extremely well! I never imagined that multiplayer of any kind would work in Portal, but it does! Here are a few screenshots from the first level of the single player game that I took.

Portal, Excluding Steam sales - sells 4,000,000 copies

This is what the room below looks like after many years
Portal, the game that was originally released in the Orange Box in 2007, has sold over four million copies at retail alone; this means, not including the high amounts of sales on the digital distribution program, Steam. There are probably millions more copies that were sold on Steam that were sold at retail.

Portal 2 was just released yesterday, and there's no doubt that the sales numbers on it are as high, if not higher than Portal. Portal 2 is an awesome game; I couldn't stop playing it when I played it yesterday. I went ahead and reviewed the first of the two campaigns included with Portal 2 - you can read it HERE.

Beginning of Portal 2 - Yet many years before actual gameplay
I hope that Portal gets another installment in the series within the next few years; Portal 2 was worth every bit of hype surrounding its release, unlike many other games released in the past few years. Dragon Age II was far lower quality than the hype surrounding it led everyone to believe; DA2 wasn't the worst game ever, but it definitely will not be in a group of games that people will remember, forever.

Portal 2 is releasing a whole day or more early

Portal 2 is going to be released early, because of a viral marketing campaign that has united almost the whole internet. The way we can help it along is by buying Valve's Potato Sack on their online distribution program Steam. When you buy these games, there are challenges in each of the 13 games based on Portal 2. You play these and beat these, which unlocks Potatoes. The point of the potatoes is to power the character GlaDos (from Portal) according to the marketing campaign.

So, we're now done with 5 of the 12 games in the Potato Sack. The current focus of people is the game Toki Tori, which is 71.9% done. According to http://www.hasportal2launchedyet.com, there are about 48 minutes left from the time I typed this sentence. Go on over there and watch, or go and buy the Potato Sack and help out!

At this rate, we'll be getting an early release in no time!

Portal 2 Early release imminent

Portal 2 is going to be released early, but how early depends on how much we want it. Valve has put a sale onto Steam with 13 games, called the Potato Sack. These 13 games now have new DLC (downloadable content) added to them based on Portal 2 - some have levels, character, etc. from the game. When we complete one of these challenges, we unlock another potato, which will power GlaDos (or the early release of Portal 2) and when we have enough people complete the challenges in one game, an entire game will repower GlaDos.

So... buy the Potato Sack... play the games' Portal 2 based challenges until you get complete a game at this URL.

http://www.aperturescience.com/glados@home/

And then after you have done that, go ahead and continue to get potatoes to help Overclock GlaDos (or help us divide the time until the early release).

Right now we are about 46 hours away from release OR according to http://www.hasportal2launchedyet.com/ we are only about 29 hours or less away! This is if we complete all Potato Sack challenges within that time, as we should; then we could still get a bunch of potatoes and make that go quicker!

So buy the Potato Sack! Buy Portal 2 on Steam! And you'll get the early release.

On Amazon.com, you could get the game for $10 cheaper, but you won't get the game until the street date release, April 19th.
