360 update causes discs to not work - PS3s update causes overheating

Microsoft's Xbox 360 recently had some troubles that caused retail discs to not work in some Xbox 360s and Sony's recent update seems to be causing overheating for people's consoles. Sony is, of course, having the worst time of all (because they're having way more troubles, like with their network, the natural disasters, etc...), but it's surprising to see 360 have an error like this at the same time.

I guess just don't update your systems for a while, until they've patched out these strange errors; Microsoft says to contact them if your 360 doesn't read discs after the update.

Microsoft, Buying Skype for $8.5 billion dollars!

Microsoft has announced that they are going to buy Skype for $8,500,000,000 (Eight-billion-five-hundred-million dollars). This is going to be huge for both of these companies; Skype is one of the biggest online video chat and telephone groups, allowing for free communication on some things.

Kinect and Skype are going to be compatible with each other, soon; Xbox 360 is going to be getting updates to be compatible with Skype. This will allow for a whole new age of communication on Xbox Live; some think it might even be free to make video calls if you have a Gold account on Xbox Live (Gold accounts are paid accounts - you pay a small monthly fee for access to tons of stuff).

Well, we'll see how it all goes... I hope it goes well. After seeing what has happened to Sony, I'm becoming more of a supporter of Xbox Live... I still like the PS3 system, more, but Microsoft's networks are far superior and aren't handled by complete morons like at Sony...

Portal 2, Screenshots from In Game

I have played Portal 2's single player campaign and the entire thing was amazing; now, I'm playing the coop campaign and it's going extremely well! I never imagined that multiplayer of any kind would work in Portal, but it does! Here are a few screenshots from the first level of the single player game that I took.
