PS3 Price drops to $249!

The PS3 price has dropped. It's now $249, €249 and ¥24,980.

The 360 has dropped significantly since its release a few years ago; the PS3 hasn't dropped quite as far, but it's getting there. Unfortunately, the PS3 isn't in as much of demand as the 360. Xbox 360 has many more games, including indie games and mainstream games that are released and going to be released for it. The PS3 has very few exclusives and not as much to offer, other than a free network unlike the 360.

Apple, 187,000,000 iOS devices sold

Apple revealed during a lawsuit that they have sold 187,000,000 iOS devices. These devices include the iPhone,  iPad and iPod Touches. There are numbers on each one of them below. I am surprised to see how many iPads that they have sold - mostly because of the high price on them. The iPhones I'm not so surprised about, because they were considered the ultimate phone for a while, before Android phones came along...

The numbers that were revealed are only the amount sold through March, 2011; so by now, they could technically be much higher... and also include the iPad 2.

iPhone: 108,000,000
iPod: 60,000,000
iPad: 19,000,000


Why aren't there more video games for a phone, the iPhone, that has sold this much? I haven't seen anything big be released on them except for Angry Birds, but it's on Android and everything else, too. So I really do wonder why I haven't heard of any big releases or very popular games released for it. Maybe it's just because the iPhone isn't made specifically for gaming like the 360 or PS3, but I've seen amazing games on PC and Mac which are exclusive to desktop computers - so why not the iPhone? All well, I don't have one, so I don't care.

Nintendo Wii, price drops to $170, new console inbound

Nintendo has decided to go ahead and bring down the price on their Nintendo Wii; recently, there was a rumor that it would drop to $150. There is also the evidence of the new console coming out soon, which will probably be revealed at E3, or around the time of E3 this year; this will be in late May or early June.

Project Cafe is the current name of the new console being revealed soon; Nintendo has kept it a big secret, but there have been rumors and things that have escaped their stone walls. Now we know about how it will be more powerful than a 360 or PS3 - it will have a controller with an HD screen on it - and it will be backwards compatible with the Wii and the GameCube! (Far better than the 360 or PS3, in my opinion... at least the rumors)

Portal 2's price has dropped by quite a bit on Amazon! However, this is only for the PC version! Who knows how long this will last, so hurry up and buy it while you can (if you haven't already).

This game has had some cryptic advertisements and a game that the whole internet seemed to unite on; people everywhere were scrambling to solve the strange puzzle before about Noon on April 15th. There was a timer that was counting down for a few hours and now it has been revealed that we have the ability to release Portal 2 early.

The only way to release Portal 2 early is to get the Potato Sack on Steam, which is a collection of thirteen awesome games! Get the Potato Sack and Portal 2 and you'll be supporting Valve and the game's early release! Go on and buy Portal 2, if you haven't and then the Potato Sack if you have the money left. I want to play my Portal 2!

$150 Dollar Wii is coming! :D

The Wii is really really expensive, so it's probably a good idea to bring it down soon... The Xbox 360 has outsold that thing for months now - and the Wii is really an inferior system, more so since Kinect was released for the 360. I really hope the price of the Wii keeps going down... Maybe then I'll buy a second one. $99 dollars seems almost right... maybe a little less.
