Playstation 4, arrives 2012?!

It seems that the Playstation 4 may be arriving in 2012!

It seems that the Playstation 3's life may soon be over... With all of the problems that Sony is having, I wouldn't be surprised if this rumor is true. GameSpot says that it was found out through some component makers in Taiwan that said they're beginning work on the next console!

We'll just have to wait and see if it's true or not, but I hope some stuff about it is leaked before the actual release so I can get some specs or some details or something! Also, GameSpot says it's motion control-based, so it may be like a better graphics version of Playstation Move, but combined into the system.

Wii 2, Camera Controls incorporated?

This is a concept for the controller (fan-made)
It seems that rumors are being thrown around all over the place about this next-gen console from Nintendo; it's currently codenamed Project Cafe, but the real name will be revealed to us at E3 or maybe a little before!

It seems now that they will be incorporating camera controls into the system; this means that they are probably trying to compete with Kinect from Microsoft. Reading more about this, some are saying that the 3DS may be able to be used as a stand in for the camera if you don't have one!

Wii 2, Has no Hard Drive

The next Nintendo console is going to be announced at E3, according to Nintendo themselves. We know many things about the console, including the controller, specifications, etc. Now, we know the amount of RAM and that there is no hard drive.

This is, of course, just rumor; however, many of these rumors are very likely to be true. I am wondering what Nintendo will do without a hard drive... go back to memory cards? That wouldn't be a very great idea - maybe they'll use Cloud systems to store things online? That would be cool and allow for us to be able to access saves from any of the Project Cafe (Wii 2 Codename) systems!

We also have rumors that the system will have 8 gigabytes of RAM, which will be far more than that of other console - which is 1/2 a gigabyte in the 360; that means this new console will have 16x as much RAM as the 360!

We'll just have to wait and see what happens with this.

Nintendo's Next gen console, Will use Blu-ray discs?

Nintendo has confirmed that their next generation console will be available at E3, this year. That is only about one month away, so we don't have long until we get to see this awesome new console. They have said it will be playable at the event.

The console is rumored to use blu-ray discs, stream video to four 1080p controllers at the same time (that's like processing four games at the same time!) and each of these controllers will have HD 1080p Touch screens. The new console is going to be far more powerful than the 360 or PS3 to handle these amazing features!

The time is soon...

Nintendo's new console, 1080p HD Touchscreen Controller

We have seen the leaked images of the next gen console coming from Nintendo; it is being announced with a month or so. I have learned now that the controller will be a touch screen, which is even better than what I'd already heard about it being 1080p HD.

I can't believe how amazing this is sounding! This console is going to be the only one I've really liked in the past few years. I didn't like the Wii. I thought the 360 and PS3 were cool, but in the end, they only had graphics. The Kinect and Move came out after a while, but I have no real interest in motion controls. Kinect is, of course, superior to the other motion controls, because it requires no controller. However, I still am not interested in motion controls for games.

Anyway, this new console sounds amazing and I'm definitely getting it!

Project Cafe, Nintendo's new console, Leaked Images

It seems that there have been some leaks that have revealed to us the next gen console from Nintendo; it is expected that they will announce the console within about one month or so. This could cause a huge shakeup in the line of consoles, because 360 and PS3 will be outdated compared to the new hardware in the next gen console. The new controller for the next gen console is amazing as well; the console streams an HD (1080p) video to up to four different controllers, showing each player their split of a split screen multiplayer game.

Project Cafe, Nintendo's new console, Controller Concept

IGN has made some sort of controller concept for the new system, currently code named Project Cafe. The controller has an HD screen on a PSP like body. This screen puts out 1080p video and can be streamed to four controllers with different video for each; this is good for split screen games, where the player should only be looking at their own screen instead of looking at their enemy's screen.

Nintendo Wii, price drops to $170, new console inbound

Wii Hardware Bundle - BlackNintendo has decided to go ahead and bring down the price on their Nintendo Wii; recently, there was a rumor that it would drop to $150. There is also the evidence of the new console coming out soon, which will probably be revealed at E3, or around the time of E3 this year; this will be in late May or early June.

Gamecube Console BlackProject Cafe is the current name of the new console being revealed soon; Nintendo has kept it a big secret, but there have been rumors and things that have escaped their stone walls. Now we know about how it will be more powerful than a 360 or PS3 - it will have a controller with an HD screen on it - and it will be backwards compatible with the Wii and the GameCube! (Far better than the 360 or PS3, in my opinion... at least the rumors)

Project Cafe, Nintendo's new console coming soon

Project Cafe, sometimes called Wii 2, is Nintendo's codename for their new console that will be revealed soon. It is likely that they'll reveal it at E3 or sometime in late May. Nintendo's new controller for the console seems to be something different, like they always try to do. This time it is a controller that has an HD screen on it.

The picture above is a concept of the controller from IGN. It looks very interesting. I hope it looks a little better than this, but it still looks awesome. This isn't the real concept from Nintendo, since the console isn't announced, yet; however, this is an imaginative version from IGN dissecting the rumors about the new console's controller.
