Steve Jobs Resigns as Apple CEO

The awesome and very well known, Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple. He has brought the company to the highest of heights - one of the most influential and innovative companies of all time; it also is richer than the US government...

Steve Jobs will be missed as the CEO, but he'll stay as the chairman of the board. He'll still help out as much as he can during his time with the company, but I think his health is finally starting to take a real toll on him. He has decided that it was affecting his work. It's kind of sad, to me; even though I wasn't such a big fan as some, it's still shocking and very surprising and I respected him a lot.

Tokyo Game Show - Unaffected by Earthquake in Japan! :D

The Earthquake caused a lot of problems for Japan - including tsunamis, nuclear reactor problems, tons of damage and many problems with Japanese companies and their affiliates - however, it won't be a problem for the Tokyo Game Show!

This is a good thing - the Japanese game industry has suffered slightly from the quake, but now this will help bring it back up! I think, anyway..

Battlefield 3 - $100,000,000 dollar marketing campaign!

$100 million dollars have been set aside for marketing by EA, for the Battlefield 3 game alone. They plan to rock the boat of the FPS games in the game industry from Call of Duty to at least remind players that there are other FPS games, namely Battlefield 3. The game looks better than any CoD game, previous Battlefield game and any other FPS I've seen in the past few years.

The last good FPS I played was Left 4 Dead 2, and that was a couple years ago now. I really can't wait to see how Battlefield 3 does, and finally be able to play it :D - I don't play CoD games, but I'm sure they're amazing since millions play them, but I really think the graphics in Battlefield 3 will help me get into the game more. Most games, I don't care about graphics, but FPS games really need great graphics to get truly immersed into them.

Minecraft has made $33,000,000! - 1.8 Million people have bought it :D

Minecraft, according to its creator, Notch, it has made over $33 million dollars and has almost two million people. I'm happy for the success of this game, and I'm happy to be one of the people who have bought it. It's an amazing game and I hope it continues to sell more, definitely after the beta ends...

That's right, it's still in its beta phase, and yet it has sold almost two million copies already! If you buy it during beta, you get a discount! I know you'll think it was worth your money - if not, then I'm sure Mojang (the company Minecraft is made by) will refund your money, like any great company :D
