Food Network's Halloween Wars

I'm sorry that Food Network's Halloween Wars ended Sunday night. Really great show. It's also a shame that it's so hard to find any photos from the show online. Below you get a hint of how great the winning team's (starring Karen Portaelo and Shawn Feeney) designs were:




The runner ups, who were led by Ray Villafane, really created a fantastic vision of hell in a losing effort. I couldn't find a photo of it, but you can see many of his other pumpkin sculptures designs, as well as his toy designs at his site. Like this fellow:

"The Great Pumpkin ASK is an annual event where Oregon artists create truly one of a kind Pumpkins to raise awareness and additional funds for child abuse prevention in Oregon." This pumpkin is by Laika artist Gesine Krätzner.
